Default Paint stripping with media

3 years ago I brought my "baby" in to get the paint stripped. Richard Newton in his book How to Restore & Modify Your Corvette, recomends taking the car to the media blaster over using a chemical stripper.

Just a word of caution: BE SURE you know the media blaster will do a good job, and make sure they can fix any problems they create if they mess something up.

Now three years later when I'm ready to paint, I will be paying a lot of money to have body put back into good condtion again. I didn't know at the time he removed too much. The media blaster is out of business now. I have no recourse.

BTW: I'm going with white pearl like Cadillac uses and will have a blueish/purple color changing stripe down the middle.

I should have the car done soon. Here are a list of mods...

March Performance surpentine conversion
Hooker side exhaust
Monoleaf front and back
Tubular A-arms
Steeroids rack and pinon

DeWitts aluminum radiator w/ dual spals
Precision Brakes Company - Willwood racing brakes all around
MSD 6AL
Offset trailing arms
Poly bushings
L-88 hood
Willwood master cylinder

That's too bad about the blasting, but in the pictures it doesn't look he took too much off? Good luck and keep the pictures coming. Looking forward to seeing the finished product...
