bouncing idle
My car has started to have a boiuncing idle when i sit at a stop light. The RPM needle will bounce between 400 and 700. I have edilbrock preformer carb. on a 454, any idea where to start looking.

Probably vacuum leak, but, those Edelbrock AFB carbs are sensitive to fuel pressure. Are you running a fuel pressure regulator to limit fuel pressure to approx 5 max? Could be to much pressure is affecting your float level.
