Battery wire from distributer

HI

tried to start the vette for the first time (74') wouldnt start. turns out I have no spark. in checking the wires I had the battery wire to the power to the distributer hooked up on the distibuter end but not on the other end. where does it gooo????????

Does anyone know where the other end of the wire goes that comes from the Batt on the distrubutor to where.. - where does the other end connect?

ok, you have a wire with 2 ends, one supposedly on the dist that is there correct? you need to know the destination at the other end correct?

it will go thru the firewall to the ignition switch. Look for a fuse open, look at the ignition switch itself. got a shop manual or a AIM? Good items to have

yes. make sure it is working, sometimes they will come slightly apart causing the problem you have. It can be disassembled, cleaned and run for another 30 years if done correctly.
