Well I've been informed by my Corvette specialist that my car is ready to be picked up and is running like a dream. I'm actually taking the later half of the day off to pick it up so that I can try it for it's annual inspection as well.
I'll quickly take the car home first and confirm that everything still works and I'm not leaking anything and try my hand.
Can't wait for this saga to end!! Oh yeah, the top end rebuild which included replacing the heads, valves, push rods etc is going to set me back $2,409.55 I'm not real happy about that so I hope and pray that this car passes the inspection without needing any work.
Thanks man, for some reason I feel like I'm going to need a lot of luck based on the events of this last week. Only about an hour now before I pick it up. I just hope that everything else runs just as well as when I left it in their hands. Yes that is Austrlian dollars, so about $1200 US...
