Put the MSD dist.,6-AL box and coil in Friday and was so happy, the car was running great. Drove it a few miles friday night and a few miles Saturday morning with no problems. This afternoon I changed out the alternator and permanently attached the box to the wheel well. My buddy came by and wanted to see how it would do so of course I obliged him. Pulled out and nailed first, grabbed second and third running around 5,000 RPM and then the engine fell on it's face. Limped home 5-10 MPH re-checked everything. Re-started the car and it sounded and felt fine. So, back out I go with the same result. Pulled the fuel filter (brand new) no problems. I put the car on the lift and found the inlet to the pump was folded (crimped) against the block. Going to replace the rubber line tomorrow. Does this sound like the problem??

Lots of good folks on here. Always seem to have the correct answer. You can't beat it. I would still be driving a white vette with a red hood if it weren't for this place..
