I am having issues with the ignition wire running to the starter not having any power. When i turn the key nothing.Strange thing is when i wiggle the wiring harness to the starter it turns over.what is going on???please help me make sense of this.
Sounds like you've got either a broken or loose wire, follow that harness back to the fuse block. Check all connections as you go.
I believe the ground goes from the starter to the heater to the wiper motor.
If your getting it to turn over while jiggling the harness I'm thinking either something isn't tight at the starter or your going to find the ground loose at the heater.
I've had the same problem in the past. AFTER checking all the connections, if problem exists, I would be suspicious of the starter silenoid first. Always was the problem for me. May not be for you, but I would look there first.
