Need help,
I can still hear the radio after installing a set of Hooker sides on my 68 bb roadster. I tried it without the slip in glass packs, but my ears were bleeding before I got out of the garage, so I'm trying to find a mid point where I'm not knocking pictures off the wall and setting off car alarms. Is this possible. Any mods I can do to the slip ins to make them a little more aggressive. Thanks for any info .

STS baffles.. Their sound can be tuned by either removing the cap at the end of the pipe or by drilling holes into the cap...
The Maxflow Hooker mufflers are also supposed to sound good...
I had a crossover pipe made for my side pipes on my 81. It made a difference. Not as loud can drive around with the t-tops off and not have to blast the radio to hear it. It also helped my bottom end power. My vette is completely stock.
