Default Wet feet

When i washed the car the other day i noticed water running down the windshield into the car and dripping onto the floorboard.

Is there a common spot I need to reseal around the windshield wipers?

Had the same thing on my 71. Take a look at the point where your windshiled pillars and the lower corners of your windshield meet. Usually the bonding, or worse yet, the sheet metal is gone. It will be hard to see the rust or split bonding material, so take off the wiper door to gain access. Run some water on it to confirm the location of the leak.

Was it running down the inside of the windshield? check the seals of your t-tops, these are the first to go. If you have it like me, your uppe windshield frame if rusted away to nothing. I njust finished rewelding mine. All C3s that have ever seen the rain seem to rust out on the upper corners.

Undo the screws to the chrome trim around your frame or unscrew/remove the plastic around the inside trim. Look inside and wear an adult diaper just in case.
