Default Replacing A/C

Has anyone replaced their A/C Hose assembly? I have a late 77 that needs a new hose assembly. Wondering about access to the condenser and accumulator ends. I ordered a service manual, but just trying to get ahead of the game if anyone has accomplished this task. Thanks. L48 engine.

I had to replace a hose on my '74. I took the old one (original) to a shop who fabbed up hoses. They made a new one using my old one as the pattern.

How did you get the old hose assembly off?

I think when I did this I had to make a special wrench, seems like I had to cut one down to get on the connection. This was on my 77. After I had to do it the second time I had the hose made longer so I could rout it further away from the exhaust, the heat was cooking the hose.
