Late C3 Birdcage - All the Same?
Can anyone confirm for me the interchangability of late C3 birdcages? I need to find some donor parts. I'm assuming all steel floor pan cars have interchangeable birdcages. Is this true? And what years? Is it 1978 to 1982?

I may be able to help you on parts. I have rocker channels and a few other parts.

So all '78 to '82 are the same?
I need this area including the passenger side #1 and #2 mount, plus bottom of door post including first door hinge area, plus about another foot of rocker channel extending aft of door post.

77 and earlier had a different dash plate. It's a matter of drilling out spot welds and welding the proper one into the new cage.
I had a 77 parts car and a 81 front birdcage and my original from the 78 and that was the only difference.
