Yep, that is correct. I thought about painting it too, but didn't. It actually looks pretty good with the natural glass. Put it up and see what ya think.

I don't know :confused: I ordered from Zip, and the insulation would only mount glass-side down. I called them and they said it should be black side toward the motor. I kept it and mounted glass-side down rather than return considering hassle and shipping from West coast. Looks ok but why would the "finished" side face the hood? Maybe as a heat shield? Or was the "technician" just wrong?
