Suspension bushing sqeaks...

At low speed, i get a really noticable squeak coming from what i think are my sway bar bushings. i put new bars on it last year and the bushings are the stock replacements from Van Steel. I thought about putting spray white grease but wanted to consult you all before i did something that could possibly mess them up...

grease em up, if it still squeeks, grease it somewhere else

should i go with that white grease or silicone???

You say that they are stock rubber bushings? If so, I'm wary of petroleum products and rubber. Had a lower a-arm rubber bushing deteriorate after only a year due to a persistant steering pump leak.

If they are rubber, try some silicone.

If they are poly, I use white spray grease during assembly. After assembly, I'm not sure that it will penetrate very well. Squirt some silicone on, it can't hurt and might help.
