BB hood to year differances?

Default BB hood to year differances?
Hi All
Is there any differances in the way 68-72 BB hoods bolt up? Can i put a 72 BB hood on a 68?. I read some stuff that latches are differant, can latches be switched or are the mounts on the diff year hoods located differantly?
