Default Headlight housing support bracket pics

My car sustained front end damage before I owned it. The bubba that did the repairs did not replace the support brackets and the front mounting tabs are broken off. This leaves the headlight assy unsupported in the front causing a lot of headlight bounce. I really don't want to shell out the big bucks for new support brackets.

Does anyone have some good detailed pics of the bracket, with emphasis on the front mounting tabs.

I figure I can either carve the tabs out of aluminum or fab something out of sheet metal and it will work just as well.

I just need some good reference pics or diagrams to get started.

Thanks.

Here's some pics, ignore the circled parts, that was for showing someone else my damage/bubbu-ed rapairs

Let me know if you need close-ups of the ends, I have the lights here sitting next to me.

Wow, that was quick! This forum is great.

If you don't mind, I'd like some closups of the ends from directly above and directly from the sides (I know, picky sum-b****) so I can get a better perspective on how to out bubba bubba.

Thanks

(I had these lights up on the 4sale section a while back, that's why I had the pics so fast)

More pics, these have been repaired (riveted + epoxy + jbweld + sheet metal to hold the broken tabs/ends on) Holes at the end of arms are supposed to be threaded, mine were drilled out.

DAMN, tossed out my old brackets, that had been heavily modded for custom lights, and went another route recently, could have sent them for postage....oh well, can't save everything...

but in fact, get a friend who can TIG weld, they are aluminum castings, and if done right, will be strong as dirt....

Thanks a bunch. Those will get me on the right track. I don't drive it much at night and didn't really care much about it until I recently noticed that it was starting to separate the header bar from the fiberglass.

Thanks again
