Starter is lagging
When the car is cold, i can go out and pump the accelerater like 20 times and when i try and start it, the starter will only rap out a couple times then kick over like normal (i realize im pumping it quite a bit extra, but thats what it takes aparently) and when ive already been driving for a while and park for maybe 30-45 min, i cant get it start unless i hold down the gas and keep the key turned for like 8 or 9 seconds. then it finally kicks over. ive tried pumping it a couple times in that kind of scenario, as well as a bunch of times. but regardless, i cant get the engine to turn over unless im holding the gas to the floor and raping the starter for ATLEAST 6 seconds. there is no hesitation in the starter like maybe its just old and tired, it has nice fast intervals between raps. i cant seem to figure it out
