Demon Leak?
My usually good starting 74 has been a PITA. At first I thought it was the advanced for dyno timing. Went back to 12* and much better but floods easily. I can't see the problem until:
The primary float adj screw was loose. Gas was seeping out. Tightened the set screw and idle is much better. What was happening? I will report on tomorrows cold starts 2. I'm going to send this Demon to a carb shop for Rx.

how old is the carb? could be a bad seal. I had the needle seat assembly leak straight from the factory... it was missing the neoprene ring. I've also seen the rings get pinched, which causes them to crack and eventually, if not immediately, leak.
