Guys info please,
I have a mechanical tach, with a unilite dist. What I want to know is, can I hook up a small electrical tach to it so I can use it to check the mech. tach in the car or use both at once? If yes, then anyone know how to hook the electrical tach up to the dist, I would appreciate any help on this.
thanks
Rich
yes you can do that no problem. Just follow the installation instructions included with any aftermarket tach. Basically it gets power, ground and a signal off the coil.

It's an old tach that I had laying around and any instructions are long gone. It's an old SuntuneMini Tach and has4 wires coming out of it, a red, black, green and blue. I have no idea where they would connect,
TIA
