Well, I found a few vacuum lines that lead to no where the other day and got a little curious as to how my headlights pop up at all. It seems that bubba completely bypassed my vacuum canister and went strait for the headlights. The 3 lines that just end I assume should be connected to something (pretty sure that something is the A/C ducting controls). Does anyone have any good diagrams or pictures of where all of the lines should go and what they are supposed to do? I have the factory '80 corvette shop manual and it doesnt seem to be complete in this area. I also have the Haynes (not very useful at all) and "How to restore & modify your corvette 1968-82" and pieced together enough to figure out the system isnt done correctly. Not enough info for a reconstruction however. The assembly manual was mentioned in another thread today as being a really good source for this information? Would this help? Are there any pictures online that could help? Thanks....
Hi
Pypassing the vacuum canister :cry possibly means that it is leaking or worse.
So B4 you just reactivate all, may be you should check it first.
Just my thinking as I believe that not even Bubba does a job without a reason.
Good luck.
