Just wondering if anyone knows what I am suppoed to torque the mono spring to the diff? factory spring calls for 70ft/lbs... but I dont think I need that much on the mono spring.
As I was going to do it up I noticed some major existing damage on the diff... will need to fab up a plate to weld in there!
Putting a plate in there will raise your ride height, in order to lower it you will need to use longer spring bolts, which in turn could cause interference problems with your tires. The heavy duty cover is cheap insurance and not only strengthens the spring mount but also the differential mount. Just my $0.02

Point well taken, I am going to try the plate for now, but plan on a complete drivetrain overhaul in the fall, so I will change it then for sure
