79 Manual Tranny issue
I've done the search thing but couldn't find anything that was simular to the problems i'm experiencing on my 79. It doesn't like to shift into reverse unless you really fight it, and then it like to grind some. The forward gears are fine as long as you are snapping them in. I'm not getting any slippage when driving just that reverse is a bear. Could it be my clutch needing replacement or is it possible a adjustment issue. I know that the T handle is in need of a rebuild since it just likes to bounce and giggle on the shifter.

You shouldn't have to snap any of the gears in. Probably worn syncros. Poorly adjusted shifter can cause problems, but I'm betting that a tranny rebuild is in your future.
