Quartz clock replace for 1971

i need to replacethe clock in my 1971, has anyone bought one of the after market quartz clocks (Eckler's), if so how do you like it?

I got one off ebay. easy to install, works fine. You might try blowing the lint out of yours and cleaning the contacts first. That fixes most of them.

I agree, but be EXTREMELY careful of the blowing. I had a factory ticker that worked fine until I put some copressed air to it and scattered the counterbalance spring into a pile of twisted spagetti. After that, I decided to do the quartz conversion.
