Huge weight saving part II
Home built rearview mirror, super light. The clamps are for keeping the glass in place while the adhesive dries.
This will easily net me a couple MPH top speed

I actually got rid of my interior mirror. I run 2 side mirrors and if you drive a truck you get use to using only the side mirrors. I found without the interior mirror that the windshield seemed so much bigger.

I'm going to polish the aluminium.
I can't see a damned thing in the side mirrors, they're useless, all you see is the hips of the car. The rearview mirror is the only thing that actually shows some part of what's going on around you.

I took the center mirror off as an experiment and I felt I gained alot of windshield area and the car seems brighter inside.
Not sure if it is legal but so far so good.
Looks good Marck.

Marck, You are a sick man! I hate my rear view mirror; when making right turns it is in the way, completely blocks vision towards the right front of the car. And the rear side mirrors aren't any better. I find myself turning my head a lot in both directions when changing lanes and other traffic situations to make sure I am clear.
I figure with all the weight reducing things you have done so far your car should weight approximately minus 20 pounds!
Keep up the good work!
Bernie

I don't know TT, the pics I've seen of Norval's. Swiss cheese has less holes. I think you might won't to get a step drill, a hole saw and don't stop until something looks like it's starting to sag.

I think it's funny that I know what your pedals look like, and I know what your rear view mirror looks like, but I know nothing about your engine. Other than that it is a SB TT. Is it a big secret or did I just miss that thread?

That's about it, a 355 SBC TT w/ a custom crossram, 4 dellorto DHLA45M carbs (the most advanced carbs ever made), the turbos are rotomaster T04B S-4 trim, intercoolers are Behr from Callaways "the speiss" project, they are custom 1 off w/ carbon tanks (I got them from someone on the forum), AMW pop off valve, custom cast log manifolds (not Banks), 3" stainless downpipes, 5 stage dry sump w/ stefs stainless pan, stock car products pump. LT5 clutch, ZF6 trans...that's about it.

Would your header/turbo setup work on a stock 82 vette? I know that the Banks manifold has the wastegate that hits the A-arm, but I dont see that you have your wastegate setup the same way...
I would love closer pictures of the engine
Im hoping for a turbo build this summer or the next...
