Default 74 ALT (Regulator) Wiring

How is the regulator supposed to be wired? I think the #2(?) terminal is connected to the junction block, the RED wire. But it's the brown wire I'm having some trouble with. It goes from the #1(?) terminal to the bulkhead connector. I have confirmed this much. But I cannot find where it goes from there. Shouldn't it go to one of the ignition terminals on the ignition switch? I have put the meter on these terminals (continuity test) and the brown wire is not connected there. HELP!

P.S. I have the factory, L.L., and Olsen diagrams. This wire either does not appear, or i'm blind. On these diagrams, this brown wire is in the only cavity that has no wire.

Your #2 wire goes to 12v source (always hot)
Batt conn to Batt (simple)
#1 connector goes to your charge light then to your ign source (on with ign only)
I have a digram if needed, let me know by PM
