Well, the thread title probably says it all. I was doing some assembly on the motor today and discovered that the oil pump housing doesn't clear one of the rear main bearing cap studs.
I'm hesitant to start grinding away at the oil pump housing, but that's the direction I'm leaning in right now. What have others done? I'm sure I'm not the first to discover this problem.
I'm using the stock BB oil pump with ARP main studs.
