I have a 1968 w/ a 427 standard. That was converted with 2 four barrel holley's with fuel regulator. I pulled the engine, and an now trying to get it to start , but am NOT getting fuel to my carbs. Does anyone know if there is a special way to prime this system??? Help
I had a problem with a 74 I'm working on now. It iwas on jack stands with the rear up a higher then the front. No fuel was getting to the carbs. First I disconnect the line from the carb to make sure there was gas pumping through the system. No gas (and yes there was fuel in the tank. ). However, there was not enough fuel in the tank. With the rear of the car being higher then the front the fuel was shifted to the front of the tank. I added another 5 gals and it primed just by cranking the motor.
I don't know it this will help you but thought I would share my experience with that.
