Installing Shifter Linkage? See Pic
I'm finally getting around to reinstalling my stock BW T-10 shifter and linkage and am having a problem getting the linkages back onto the transmission studs. The linkage end has a rectangular opening that should go over a stud that protrudes out of the side of the tranny- however none of mine will fit (slip over) the studs. Am I missing something here?:

I dont have a shifter handy to look at but it looks like the studs are incorrect...some were flat on both sides to accomidate the rectangular hole

I have a BW ST-10. Are the clevises the originals take off that trans? Are you sure your sliding the correct end of the clevis onto the trans....not the shifter linkage end?? If it's the reverse clevis it will only go on one way. With the interlock cable stud pointing tword the trans. (that's what mine was) If it came off...should go back on.
