Center A/C Vents
Any ideas why my center A/C vents ( the 2 that are above the center gauges) would be so loose on my '77? They will not stay pointing forward. When I try to position them they return to pointing straight up. Is something missing? They move around very easy.

When I did mine, I used some foam strip with an adhesive strip on one side to replace what looked like the same thing that had been fitted at the factory 30 years ago. This gives the outlet ducts the "friction" needed to stay where you put them.
