i've just finished installing a new dash harness in my 70 c3 but to my surprise, noticed that the harness does not have the wiring for the wiper override switch. this switch located under the steering column.
i'm baffled and wondering why?
anyhow, to overcome this absence, could someone help me with the rewiring of this switch?
from the aim wiriing diagram a 12gauge red+ wire goes to one side of the override switch starting from behind the light switch. this connection is easy to make.
my problem is the 12gauge red/white wire. the aim wiring diagram is not very clear. this wire seems to go to the wiper door limit switch on the firewall.
thanks
suppose i'll answer my own question.
i found the red and red/white wires for the switch. they were completely wrapped in black tape. visible were only the sockets.
