you will have to make a plate to cover the hole, use a gasket. Follow the hose back to the TFS, it can be removed. The other side of the TVS should be source vacume, remove that line and cap its source.
u'll get a little bit of power out of it nothing really noticeable but it just holds ur engine back and u really dont need it. if u have one on ur car take that off including ur smog pump unless u live in a state where u have to get inspections.
The EGR is actually a good device, it uses very little hp and does reburn some of the emisions. I am keeping mine and just cleaning it up and making it work right
I remover the pump could not see any use for it, but the egr might be helping out the air I think I will clean it up and keep it for a while....
In calif 74 is the last year that no smog is requires.

yes it is, and EGR also cools combustion chamber temp causing less susceptibilty to ping. Why would you want to defeat that?
