I'm still relatively new and trying to figure out some of the "lingo" I see in responses to some of the posts....What the heck does "ttt" and "bump" stand for??
I have often thought the same. It finally hit me the other day, and I'm not for sure but I think it means "to the top". Like bump, to the top just sends it back to the top of the page to get noticed again.
By the way, I love the color of your vette. I just had mine painted 2 months ago and I almost went with orange( my favorite color). After looking at yours, kinda wish I had now.
ttt and "bump" both are used in reference to bringing one's post "to the top" (ttt) of the forum list, thus now this topic is at the top.
Versteh?
FWIW, abbreviations can be a real PITA, and not knowing what they mean makes one feel like a sorry SOB. Oh well, time to have a Scotch and go to bed!
Just got a look at your pic. I am doing a 75 coupe that is suppose to be flame orange but it's really dull. I can honestly say after seeing your pic I will stick to the orignal color. Great looking ride you have!!! :chevy

Gee, Thanks!!:D I thought long and hard about this color before I bought it. I hadn't seen the orange before but it had been recently repainted with the correct code paint and if I'm not mistaken there were only 3,030 Vettes painted this color out of a total production run in 1975 of 38,465. I have not been able to locate stats on how many of the 4,629 convertibles were painted this color. There are no other convertibles this color and year in my area that I am aware of (??).
