Console, Heater light

Before I start taking my center console apart, messing up the carpet that is so nicely tucked under it. Is there a light bulb behind the heater controls in the console? If so is it on the drivers or passangers side?

The bulb is above the center dash between the A/C vents. Feel the black plastic part just under the dash cap and you'll find a small hole. the bulb shines from up there down on to the heater controls. You replace it from up top. Remove the upper bezel for access. It looks similar to your #194 dash bulbs but it has a magnifyer on the very end of the bulb. It is a 13 volt Wagner part number 558. If you can't find one let me know, I have a whole box and I'll send you one free.

Thanks for the information, Greg. I would think that the local Napa parts store have that bulb.

They should. Ask them to cross that Wagner number. I've had trouble finding them in the past so I finally bought a box but it'll take me forever to use it up.
