Ok - having a rethink about my engine and car in general.
As my engine is now - fiddled with ( very badly ) in Japan, it goes quite well - is terrible with gas consumption and smells bad. So be it - its what I bought.
Route 1 is - use the parts I already bought, 58cc alloy heads, manifold, cam, headers , true duals, etc - usual first step stuff - and get the autobox to lock up in top again.
With the above sort of stuff - am I gonna get about 300 hp ? And if so - anybody guess at gas milage ?
Route 2 is the 383 stroker. Gonna need a bigger cam etc - and might end up in the 5oo bhp region I guess. So, 383 owners - tell me about gas milage.
Bottom line is - for now at least - do I take it in stages and use what I already bought ??

could use more detail on heads, cam, etc. But I would think that you wouldn't want to go with a 383 if fuel economy is part of the equation. God bless, Sensei
