Default 1981 History Question

I was looking at the 1981 specs online and i saw that there was no optional engine for that model year.... so my question is, which engine are we talking here. Obviously they didn't have a 1 year run of the L81 engine, it must have been an L82 right?

Nope. It was a one-year run of the 190 hp computer controlled carb L81. No L82, no L48.

No need to look elsewhere - all documentation will point to this.

L81 was the only engine option in 81.

After years of offering engine options the factory quit in 81 since many just used the engine to get it home where the real engine options were !
No limit on engine options !
