When the engine reaches 180 degrees, and the fans kick on, the fuse on the fans blows. So i switch fuses, and it does the same thing? Any ideas?? No wires seem loose, and i have had these fans on and working fine for over a year??
no other devices have been added..i have a 100amp alternator. I just installed the fans as per instructions. I have had the fans working fine for alittle over a year now...it all of a sudden happened...it keeps blowing fuses.

Welcome to elecltical trouble shooting.
Unplug/disconnect 1 fan at a time to see which electric fan mtr may have a short. Now u can also connect a multimeter in series with each fan to measure current but if the fuse blows immediatly then u won't get a chance to read the meter. That meter would also need to have nearly a 30 amp range as most hand helds are only 10 amp. Now electritions use a clamp on ampmeter (sold at HomeDepot etc. but not cheap - rent/borrow) that can handle hi amps. Just read the instructions, test with the headlights/batt cable for DC, toaster/microwave for ac currents (well just to practice).
BTW u know what i think of electrics fan Red but hope this helps to keep that nice shark stay on the road.
Cardo, the fuse blows immediately...I know...is it that one of the fan motors has a short, or could it be possible that one of the motors is blown?? (which i hope not)
Either one of the fans has a short, or you have a short in your wiring. As CardoO said, unplug one fan at a time to see if it is in the fan. If it still does it, check your wiring.
