I recently swapped out UJoints and must have gotten too aggressive getting them out of the driveshaft, as I now have some vibes at around 60mph. Is there a way to home-balance the shaft, or can anyone reccomend where to have it balanced?

I fought U joints for years. Until I found Central FL Drive Shaft located in Lakeland and Orlando FL. Only charge $7.50 for instalation per u joint plus the the part @ $12 ea.....I have learned to pick and choose my battles
To balance is like $30 and I highly recomend it on drive shafts. Have never balanced the 1/2 shafts. Based on recomendations here on the forum...best of luck
I agree with u mbeeman, replacing u-joints and balancing should be left up to the pros that have the tools and equipment. I did learn the hardway though, bent a couple halfshaft flanges trying to swap out the u-joints.
I think this is one of those things where you just have to find a drive shaft shop in your area. These guys do this stuff all day long and can replace a u-joint like I can open a bag of Chee-To's. I just dropped my half-shafts off this morning, and tomorrow I'll have new joints and most of my fingernails will still be intact.
I remember reading in the shop manual to reverse the installation of the drive-shaft at the companion flange on the differential as a first try (ie remove u-joint bracket, flip shaft 180 degree and reinstall).
I just replaced my u-joints in my driveshaft. So I should get it balamced? I haven't driven the car yet to determine if I have any vibration, because the motor is not in yet.
