Default 68L-71 Corvette Question

On the forward fiber optic lamp monator face plate (mine is metal) there are two screws that hold the fiber optic harness to the bracket. Well I had the two fastens attached to the faceplate to keep from loosing them, after I got it back from the place that restored it they are gone. Are these plain machine screws? This angers me because I've tried so hard not to loose any part of this car (68L Corvette Coupe) AL.

Man this is a tough one, and sice mine is all together its hard to say without checking out the assembly man back home, but in general i would say machine screws yes since that is what is used throughout the console,

Yes regular machine screws, just removed mine last week.
I can take a pic later tonight if you'd like.
Although I can't guarantee mine are original or correct but they seemed to work.

On my fiberoptics plate there are speednuts holding it on - but I have a 71.

Default Problem Solved

Thanks for the super follow up! I tried two different size machine srcews and niether worked then I found 2 screws sitting together on my work bench and they looked a lot like the screws that hold the back of the speedometer cluster to the bezel. Well they fit perfect! So in short the lamp monator bezel screws are a regular metal screw and not the machine screw as tought, so in short it looks like I found the ones that came out. This car has been a part to long! You guys are the best! Thanks for your continued support! AL.
