Default What's this connector?

On my 73,..from the wiring harness along the firewall (engine-side) there are three wires and two connectors that veer off toward the engine. One goes to the idle solenoid. The other I'm unsure of,..it's a two-wire connector with one green colored wire and a tan (or brown) wire. What is this?

Thanks in advance!

I think it goes to the TCS solenoid---I'll check my diagram and get back.Yes-My diagram shows a tan and dark blue(dirty green?) going to TCS and a dark green going to temp sensor pass.side head.

its supposed to go in the area of the headlights and have a jack on the end of it, then another jack plugs into it and runs up along the drivers side of the underneath of the hood, one wire goes to the cowl silonoid and the other is a grd,, the wire is coming off the gas pedal switch..combo trans kickdown and cowl door opener

Carl,..I know what you're talking about, but that's not it. Look where your throttle cable exits the firewall,..2-3 inches below that you'll see the part of the wiring harness that veers toward the engine.

Could be the TCS solenoid,..which is long gone on my car.
