Best way to Remove Paint?
What is the best way to remove the old paint from your Corvette? I heard that chemicals are the wrong way to go. Even if they are made for a fiber glass body. The chemicals will be soaked into the fiberglass causing the new paint to fade and ruin.
I have heard that plasitc media blasting is the way to go. Does anyone have other opinions? I would like to strip it myself if it is possible.
Thanks,

I don't know how it could ever be done, but supposedly, the best way to get the paint off is with a razor blade
You may want to search the forum for "razor" and "paint" because I believe that someone did this very recently.

The definitive answer is: "It Depends".
If you've got the $$$$ to spend, plastic media blasting by an experienced shop is the way to go. That runs about $1k in my area for a C#, including stripping the door jambs.
I did some small areas on my car with a razor blade. It wasn't real effective against multiple layers of thick Imron.
I used chemical stripper, and was satisfied. Spent about $100 in materials and the car still looks great with no problems after 2 years.
