Any 1977 owners test their miles per gallon, or know what it should average. I'm getting 16 mpg in combination highway and city driving. I don't know whether that's right, or really low (meaning I need an engine adjustment).
Thanks.

I know this probably won't help you much, but my '81 gets about 20-22 mpg average city/highway miles. I also run with premium gas though. I don't know if it would make a huge difference, but I have always heard that you should always run Vettes with at least mid-grade gas or better. Better for the engine, and better mpg.
I have a 72 350/4 sp/3:36 and since Lars rebuilt my carb and distributor, my first two tanks of gas averaged almost 16 MPG city driving. I expect highway driving will yield 18-20 MPG. I am so happy with Lar's rebuild.
