Default 82 Dash Harness

Hi guys, does anyone know where I can get a NOS or a re-manufactured or an overhauled 1982 Dash Harness? I've tried all the big places like Ecklers, Davies, Zip, Doc Rebuild etc... and no one has a harness.

I'd rather stick with a stock harness as opposed to fitting a Painless or similar harness.

Someone must still have one in stock somewhere! Does anyone have one sitting in the garage that they bought and never used?

HELP, please....

I have a complete 82 harness from nose to bumper...what do you need? The only cutting done to it is the radio harness (p.o. cut it off)

I really only wanted the dash harness as mine's been "bubba'd". Did you buy the harness or remove it from a vehicle? Has it been checked over?

I don't want to sound picky but I don't want to remove my harness and associated electrickery gremlins and then possibly install other gremlins. Also, I'm in Saudi Arabia and there aren't many reasonable auto electricians around, let alone good ones. So I don't want to have to rely on some half wit relation of Bubba to try and track down any electrical problems.

If your harness is good, what do you want for just the dash harness or what do you want for the whole thing? Trying to balance wants/needs versus shipping costs!

Thanks for the reply and I look forward to your answer.

I removed it from my car because I'm not using it, it was fully functional.

What do you mean with just the dash harness? What parts are connected to it? I think the whole harness is 1 piece in the interior, the only connectors are at the firewall and behind the seats, so fuse box, power windows, power seats, door locks, heater, radio, gauges, interior lights...all that is 1 section I think.

All the places that I've tried (who still list them in their online catalogues) just say "Dash Harness" so there must be disconnects for the doors and seats, I spose?!?! (I haven't removed mine yet). But what you mention would be fine.

To quote Greg on the 21'st of June "No we don't, sorry".

Very frustrating because many other places are like Lectric Limited and don't bother to update their online catalogues...

The dash harness has the interior side of the fuse box, all the dash wiring, switch hookups, basically everything from the handbrake forward, nothing is removable except for the door harnesses, I have everything on there, the pedal switches for the brake light, cruise control and what not, even has the parking brake switch still on there. If you want I can take detailed pictures of what is cut off. 1 window switch plug has been replaced because the old one was fried (so a short length of wire is a different color coding, that's how it came from ecklers) and 1 or 2 ground straps have the eyelets pulled off (just crimp on a new one). The only cutting I've seen when I briefly looked is from the stereo but I'll take a better look if you want me to. When the harness was in the car everything worked.

Sorry mate, I didn't get e-mail notification that you had replied. Anyway, what do you want for the harness?

the listing says 81/82. The 81 and 82 are not the same, the fuse box on the 82 is completely different as are the looms itself.

better make sure it's for an 82
