I am having a bad time getting my fuel system to work..
If the filter in the Q'jet gets plugged up alot will it damage the fuel pump because it is pumping against a shutoff head.??? I installed an in-line clear filter and now I notice after the engine runs awhile it starts stalling out because as I can see in the clear filter it is getting very little gas...
I am considering an electric fuel pump . What do you guys recommend in this area..
Frustrated

Stick a new fuel pump on there and see if the problem goes away. Had a similar problem with mine and the new pump made a world of difference. If you are not looking for a super performance one, a stock replacement will set you back $20 and will work fine. The project will take a couple of hours if you havent done it before, but it is not a big deal. Let us know if you need help
I just replaced the fuel pump afew months ago . Probably hasnt got more than 300 miles on it.. I got it from Mid America along with a new fuel line from pump to carb..
