exhaust question
I am getting ready to upgrade from a performer RPM/600 holley combo to a weiand 142 blower/700 holley combo. I am also changing form 2.25" dual exhaust with 2 chamber flowmasters to Patriot side pipes. Here is the question will the patriot fake 4 into 1 side pipes be too restrictive? They have a 2" inlet and are 3.5 inch. I plan on a 2.5" hook-up kit. I was also planning on a crossover pipe(h-pipe). Will I be ok?

I have the pipes you are referring to and I like them. But I would go with the Hooker side pipes for what you are doing for better flow. Where did you get your Weiand and did you check out procharger?

I bought the weiand blower form Advance Auto, I got the polished 6510 for $1500 even. I figured by adding the cross over pipe it would help. Right now the hooker set-up is way out of the budget. it appears from the pics that the Patriot 4 into 1 uses the inner pipe as the real one. I guess I could modify it for 2.5". Since it is on the inside you shouldn't see it.
