If you don't find what you need on e-bay, pm me. I have two driver's side blue (2 different shades) good tops. After breaking 2 passenger side tops, I decided to do the Corvette world a favor and stop buying them, so I got a set of fiberglass ones (better for the Florida heat anyway). God bless, Sensei
I bought the car with both cracked. It looked like something had fallen on them. I bought a used set. The first one I broke by not having them stowed properly behind the seats and as I sat back I heard a sickening cracking sound. The second time I was putting new weatherstripping on the 2nd new set I bought and was not paying good attention (working at the kitchen table, talking to the family) and put the screwdriver between the frame and glass instead of between the frame and weatherstripping and began to twist. OOPS!!! To all of you who are crying right now, I do promise not to ever touch another set of them. God bless, Sensei
How do they brake? I was wondering because I have new ones and would hate to brake one $$$$$.
Stored in back and put something heavy on them.
I think that the handle for 1 was sticking up and when I put a bag of food on them, it broke through.
Not sure exactly. I just pulled it out of the bag and it's broken.

I ran over one of mine a few years ago.....didn't like them anyway....sold both for $500
Many get broke in shipment,btw....so be careful who you buy from....think there is a T-top place in Chicago that ships them in metal containers....can't remember who now...got CRS..

I got a new ($1000.00) set for xmas and need to find storage bags for them. I don't want the thin flimsy storage bags and would rather have something better to protect them. What can I buy?
I saw a one piece top for sale on ebay awhile back... price was less than $600. Smoked tint no mods neccesarry and works with existing hardware. Looked good to me and it would set your C3 apart.

I bought one of the t-top suitcases from Ecklers and I like it. I lean it up against the wall or the wheel of another car and slide each top right in with a pad in between them. It fits behind the seats, but I've rarely used it for that. Mainly it stays in the garage to safely hold the tops when off.

i also bought a t top suitcase from echlers , around 100 bucks. there is a foam divider to protect them and it fits in the back area, i tried putting my tops in those bags located in the jack side stowage compartment, for the road tour at bloomington, i couldnt get the tops to lay right,so rather than chance breaking them i put them back on the car, didnt have the suitcase with me,llucky for me we ran into a bad storm! my tops were on and i stayed dry

I go one step further - I use the regular Top bags and then put them in the suit case with the foam cushion between them. Like has been said the bag is very heavy with both tops in it. So if you have a bad back - watch out!

I haven't tried this, but...
If you have the clamshell seats, could you fold the seats down, slide the suitcase foward, load / unload the tops, and then slide the suitcase back without ever lifting it?
