Default Need EGR OEM number

I'm replacing the EGR on a stock 79 that the PO threw away. The one I ordered came with various sizes of washers to control the size of the opening to the manifold. The size depends upon the OEM number stamped on the EGR already on the engine. Since I don't have the original EGR, does anyone have one that they can read the stamped number off? Thanks.

...you need to be more specific. I tried looking this up in my GM Corvette Parts Book and it shows about 6 different ones. L-48 automatic with California emissions, L-82 automatic with California emissions, L-48 4spd, L-82 4spd, L-48 4spd with CA emissions, L-82 4spd w CA emissions, etc...what do you have?????

Sorry it took so long - L48 engine, standard emissions (not California), automatic tranny. I put in the smallest diameter washer and didn't even hook up the vacuum line (kept it plugged), started it and it ran like crap. Guess I'll just put the plate back on it and call it a day.
