PS Pump Pully

How the heck do ya get the bolt out of the PS Pump Pully?
Left or right hand threads?

I think its pressed on,you can rent the puller from the auto parts store.

On the stock pump?that isnt right or on your new hydroboost?

this is actually on my 2000 Z71 pu. There is an allen head bolt of some kind in the end of the shaft on the front of the pully. I asumed it had to come out, then use a puller to get the pully off. Just found out that the puller I have doesn't fit either

sometimes the allen hole in the shaft is so that you can keep it from turning while unscrewing something

got it figured out. The pully is a tight press on, no bolt to hold it on. There are threads inside the shaft for a bolt to be used to push the pully back on with. I guess the allen hole in the end of the shaft is there to hold the thing still while something else inside gets tightned.
