Default Help a novice - please

All,
I posted a request for assistance earlier today, and got only one reply. I really need some advise please.

About how much would a recent frame off restored 73 with a 350/350 NOM engine command in the market today (in the north east) assuming it was very well done?
Does a non numbers matching car stand to lose value or can I expect it to simply maintain it's value, all things being equal.
Is a non numbers matchiing car totally out of the collector market and therefore commands a lower price?

ANY help you can offer a novice would be greatly appreciated.

Advice: this isn't a technical topic, it's more approprite to the C3 General forum.
More advice: be patient!

73 SB NOM coupe, frame off I'd say $20k as a ballpark. Could be more if it was a high option car, nice color, showed well, etc.

Yes, non matching numbers hurts some in the long run. Not the hit it used to be, but still some.

Are you buying, selling, speculating, what?

Most of us here are pretty crazy about our vettes, so we might give you a bit high of a price for what a car like that is worth. Your best solution for finding that out is to look on ebay and cars.com for how much that type of car is selling for. Ebay is decent to get an idea of actual obtainable price for a car whereas something like Barrett Jackson is just a complete pipe dream.
