T-top Wx stripping problem
Bought the stripping from corvette rubber, but the white plastic push pins don't line up with the holes. Some are off one way and others the other way. Do I have the wrong stripping? Can I just drill new holes or do I stretch the stripping to align the pins? The part with the four screws aligns perfectly.

There is a differnce in the weather strip for various years of corvettes. You may have the wrong year for your car.
The number of pins changed in 1977. Early 1977 and previous may use 19 pins, and later 1977 models will use 18 pins.
This may account for the difference in the number of pins you have, versus the number of holes. That is why they may not line up.
Count the pins, and then count the holes in the top.

I replaced the WS in my 76. The t top WS did not fit, pins were mis aligned and the door side did not have a metal strip in the rubber like the old one. I exchanged the 76 WS for 77 WS and they fit perfectly. Turns out my tops are 77.
