Default replacing brake pads
sorry for the dumb question, but i've never ever worked on brakes before. i think i need new pads on my '72, since they are squeaking very badly. Is this an easy do-it-yourself job??

Not horrible, but can be tricky. C3s have fixed calipers. You remove the wheel, remove the pin that holds the pads in, push pads back, replace the pads, and then replace pin and wheel.

It's a great setup- the pads can be changed quickly w/ piston retainer clips.
