1963 Split Window Coupe
Must be a good friend to let you borrow his.
Is this the same friend that lets you keep the C4 vert? I really need to meet this guy and become friends. What are the details on the car show at the Waikiki Landmark? Open to the public or just a private showing of all of your cars? I am going to the track on Saturday, come out if you get some time.

He eventually had to rebuild the power-glide, but he got a steal. The car was in very good shape, and is still in good shape with about 45,000 miles on it.
I begged him to sell it to me for the last 25 years, but it is still sitting there. A couple times a year he'll put the battery in it and drive it for a couple hours. Then about once a year he changes the oil. Last time he drove it the heater core started leaking, so he bypassed it and parked the car.
What a shame, these cars are supposed to be driven.
This is another friend.....He keeps the car locked up in a warehouse....asked me to drive it because it needs road time....so I'm going to put it in the show this weekend......BTW I still have the 94 Convertable....The guy never came back to fetch it and I'm not complaining....The Show is open to Custom Cars and Bikes...I'm doing this to sort of open up The Waikiki Landmark to the public and introduce them to our retail outlets located on the ground floors on the Kalakaua Ave side of the Complex......I'll have 31 Cars and about 20 Custom Bikes including 2 Funny Cars and a Custom HUM-VEE owned by John Browning, you know the famous Browning rifles and guns,.....This thing has a T.V. at every seat. Also Having some Bikini Models pose with the cars and drivers.....Lots of trophies and cash prizes.....Round trip tickets to outer islands, etc....Stop by and check out the wild band from South America, playing music to lift your spirits..... :seeya
Smokehouse69,
Oh if I could only score one like your friend....This car drives like a dream...I thought it would be rough riding....she really surprised me. If I ever get one it will be red like the one on that billboard somewhere out on the freeway up there in the mainland....what a beautiful behind she has.....
My friend is letting me use this car to get road time on it......I'll send you pictures after the car show.....We plan to give out disc to each participant of the show. I went to the local speed shop and they claim they can redo my engine to increase HP up to 500 + HP with new AFR heads and roller cam etc cheaper than ordering Bill Mitchell engine and probably less hastle....considering all the problems I had with the BRE.....so I think I'll try local build and see how I luck out here......If this goes into the toilet, I'll order the Bill Mitchell 427 complete and just stick her in.....Aloha Cappy
