Default Another Angled Plug Header Question

Okay, I did a search and couldn't find the answer I was looking for. Do Hooker Super Comp Headers 1.75" primaries fit with AFR 195 heads? I checked Hookers site and according to the footnotes it said it would clear all angle plug heads with the exception of Edelbrock heads. My headers are pt#2134. Whadyathink?

I have this combination on my '68 with a 383. I use Accel shorty header plugs, and Taylor Spiro Bound wires. These wires have huge boots and the No.6 plug has an interferance problem, which I solved by cutting off one corner of the boot off. I will probobly be purchasing a "SparkArm" from Wrenchrat-phone #509 462 2934 or wrenchrat.com, like Norval has. Other then that....no problem, fits the chassis just fine.

The plug will fit real nice if you beat the "H" out of the #8 tube for cylinder 6 spark plug.

With my Super comps I had to have my #8 pipe cut and a 1 inch piece was welded in to clear the plugs on my Edelbrock Vic. Jr. heads. They are angle plugs and have .300 in. raised exhaust ports. The headers might fit your heads better/

You can see the #8 primary tube comes out from the block further that normal in the pic below.

I always buy headers uncoated and test fit first before I coat them because they never fit perfect.

I have this combo in my '69, and yes, everything fits.....not much room around the #6 plug, but a short spark wrench (similar to a lawn mower plug wrench) works nicely there.
